My name is Heidi and I own Fourth and Home, a Pittsburgh-based postpartum doula service that provides a calm, caring presence where you can feel supported without judgment.
My approach is centered on creating a space where new parents can breathe, ask anything, feel everything, and know they are not alone. I bring steady reassurance, gentle guidance, and a warm, grounded presence that helps families feel more confident and cared for from the moment I walk through the door.

I support families who may be feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or exhausted, whether they’re first-time parents, recovering from a challenging birth, navigating feeding questions, or balancing the needs of older children. My role is to bring reassurance, practical guidance, and a completely non-judgmental space into your home so you can feel more confident, more rested, and more supported during this tender season.
Empowering new parents in Pittsburgh
Fourth and Home is a postpartum doula service based in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. I provide calm, in-home support for families in the early weeks after birth by helping parents rest, recover, and feel confident with newborn care and feeding. My approach is warm, judgment-free, and evidence-based, with gentle help around the home, practical guidance, and steady emotional support. I currently offer daytime postpartum support and a prenatal planning session to help families feel prepared and cared for before and after birth. My lactation certification is in progress and will soon become its own dedicated service. Fourth + Home proudly supports families throughout the South Hills of Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities.
